Moments rules and safety
Under Our Tree is part of PopUsIn. Unavailable Moments actions show a small Coming soon note and stay disabled. No fictional family posts are shown.
Who can see a Moment?
Your audience choice matters. Family sharing is the safer default. If a Public sharing option becomes available, anything you deliberately publish to it may be seen outside your family. Check the audience before posting. Do not put a child's name, school, home address or location in a Moment.
What can I share?
- Photos and messages you have permission to share.
- Photos of other people only when you have their permission. For children, ask their parent or guardian.
- Kind, lawful content suitable for a family Christmas space.
What is not allowed?
No threats, bullying, hate, sexual exploitation, illegal material, private details about other people, impersonation or spam. Do not share images without the rights to do so.
How do I report a problem?
Use the Report control if it is available, or email hello@underourtree.co.uk and tell us what happened. We aim to review reports within 24 hours. This is our moderation target, not proof that the moderation service is operating today.
We may hide or remove content, restrict an account, or refer serious concerns to the appropriate authorities. You can ask us to reconsider a decision by email.
Is someone at risk right now?
Call 999 in an emergency. Do not wait for an online report. Suspected child sexual abuse images can be reported to the Internet Watch Foundation at report.iwf.org.uk.
